When we are faced with tragedies that are as inhuman and heinous as the attack that occurred on this country, it's understandable that we could be overwhelmed with all sorts of emotions. We are not only subject to being sad, irate, fearful, and concerned but as mere beings, we might also become uncertain and even doubtful of everything including the sovereignty of our God. However, I implore you to take time out to remember our Creator. The One who is truly in control of all situations and the only One who is able to assure our safety.

I don't mean to seem cold, but  even in this tragic and monstrous situation, we ought to glorify God and be thankful to Him.

Thank Him for being God and Sovereign.

Thank Him for the lives that have been sparred.

Thank Him for those that will come to know Him through this ordeal.

Thank Him for giving you another chance to reflect on your mortality.

Thank Him for giving you another chance to draw near Him.

We must also pray:

--For our country.

--For those who are personally and directly affected.

--For the leaders who are making the decisions.

--For the men and women like my brother who is in the Air Force who

might have   get in the forefront.

--For those who are involved in the ministry so that God can use them

to reach those who are hurting and confused.

--For one another.

--For our world.

May God bless and sustain us all.
