Aujourd’hui Dimanche 12 Août 2001 .La dedicace du temple “Eglise Baptiste Union de Zelateurs” est l’une des plus belles Eglises Haitiennes a New York. We we’ll give you an updated history next Saturday. All I have to say is that it was a well organized celebration that the pastor himself Pateur Laurent Louis directed. It started at about one o’clock in the afternoon  and after the service every one was invited to go downstair to continue the celebration in the Fellowship Hall “Jean J Hall” Pasteur Laurent L insisted on the fact that he does not have a “basement” in the church and if you are going downstairs, you are going to the “Jean J Hall” remember that if you want to be on his good side. Two of the Haitian Gospel Artists were present and no need to elaborate on the well know Soloist Johanne Nicolas and of Jean C. Botreau with his song “Temoignage” …see for yourself.

Aujourd’hui Dimanche 12 Août 2001 The March organized by “Action Evangelique” took place anyway. Pasteur said on of the leaders why don’t we just pray and send the people home. The turnout was no so great. Lead by both the Haitian and the American flags, carried by McKenzie Magloire and Suzette Desantus, nous partimes twenty three et par un prompt renfort nous nous retrouvames just about a hundred people walking on the local street of Easter Parkway and hoping by being there people will come to Christ. No a bad approach or idea, except that when it rains people stay home and the “Word” can not get to their soul except for a miracle. But again who knows...We marched anyway, anyhow.  I had a chance to speak to a few “marchers” among them,  Sr Martha Bigot and Sr. Esther Picard while we were crossing Brooklyn Ave, told me that they were too satisfied with what was going on but they are doing it for the “glory of God”, and that they would walk till the end. And walk they did. Take a look at the picture and see for yourself.
